I have agreed to go to Colorado for one week of skiing. I have absolutely no desire to do this, but Tom is so happy at the thought of it that I had to agree. I took the girls out of school for the week, something I NEVER do, and we are joining Tom's brother, Dick, and his better half, Clint, for a week of snow and skiing. I am afraid of heights and of falling...what about skiing has my name on it?
I had to buy all of us winter clothes. We live in Florida. We don't own jackets, ski boots, hats, gloves, etc. We own swimsuits.
Lands End to the rescue! We are now outfitted with the latter and ready for snow. I'm not prepared to fall, but I am prepared for the coldness. I think.
I shall try to blog my adventures.
