Me: "Well, first of all, your Dad made dinner tonight."

Darcy: "He did? Did he make this salad?"

Me: "Yes, he made everything."

Darcy: "You didn't make the salad?"

Me: "I don't put carrots in my caesar salad. I did not make the salad."

Darcy: "Daddy, did you put hers in here?"

Tom: "Hers? Hers what?"

Darcy: "The spicy stuff....hers....you know, dill and pepper?"

Tom: "You mean herbs?"

Darcy: "Whatever. Did you?"
