These are the robes that were on the bed in the master bedroom, one of three bedrooms in our unit. The robes have a Presidential Reserve crest in the upper left-hand side, and I've thought about wearing them down to one of the waterparks so that others can bow to me.
This is the view of the master bedroom with the robes and box of chocolates on the bed. The dresser, not fully seen, is large enough to hold my entire wardrobe.
To the left of the master bedroom is this fantastic bathroom. The closet is to the left of this picture as is the separate toilet area, complete with door. The downside to this bathroom is that there isn't a door leading into the bathroom and the shower door is certainly see-through, but the upside is that there is a motion detector light for the night. Walk into the bathroom in the dark and a green illuminating light comes on to help you find your way into the toilet area. I am so in love with that feature!
This is a view of the dining area and living area from the master bedroom. The kitchen is to the right as is the hallway leading to the other bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry room. To the left is the balcony that overlooks the parking lot, the zipline towers, and some wooded areas. This is the kitchen view from the front door. All the appliances are stainless steel and this stone on the bar is just beautiful. The ceilings are twice the height of my husband which makes everything really wide open. We filled the refrigerator with groceries this afternoon, and the beauty of this kitchen has me itching to cook.
Down the hallway to the left is the second bedroom. This is our leftover room. When I made the reservations a month ago we were upgraded to a three-bedroom for no extra charge. In the wee hours of our arrival, the girls thought they would each take a bedroom, but they soon changed their minds when they realized we were far, far away on the other side of the unit.
This is the second bathroom across the hall from the second bedroom. We use this bathroom when we are in the kitchen or the living room and we don't want to walk a few more miles into one of the master baths. Next to this bathroom is the laundry room with washer, dryer and some shelves. It is as big as a bathroom.
At the end of the hallway is the third bathroom. It has the same amenities as the master bathroom, only not as spacious in its layout. To enter the third bedroom you have to pass through this bathroom. To the left of the bathroom are the entrance to the bedroom and a window.....
The third bedroom with another king bed that the girls have decided is far enough away from the parents that they can stay up all night and watch television without us knowing.
The resort is huge. There are several offshoots in this resort, known as The Wilderness, and we are in one of them called Wyndham Glacier Canyon. The resort has three indoor waterparks and three outdoor waterparks. There are three putt-putt courses, one of which is indoor, three-game rooms, one of them the size of my house, several restaurants, a candy shop, a ceramic painting shop, a build-a-teddy shop, a zipline tour, a golf course, and a spa. We spent most of our day trying to tour the place, but alas, we did not make it all around the resort.
This picture is one of the indoor waterparks we visited today. While I type this I believe the children are swimming there now. It is in another section of the resort and is quite huge. I was on the upper level of the facility when photographing. There is also a lazy river that goes around the entire waterpark indoors.
One of the three-game rooms for kids. I walked into the place, which has an indoor playground way in the back and immediately walked out after taking the photo as it was so overwhelming. My kids spent several minutes wandering this place and can't wait to return.
Most of the day was spent getting acclimated to the resort and the surrounding area. We had brunch at a charming restaurant near the resort, grocery shopped at the local super Wal-Mart, and relaxed in our unit. Tomorrow we shall venture out further...
Wow! This place looks amazing and so cozy...like a ski resort, but warmer:) We must do this next summer instead of my house!!!!
