Connie yearly foot wrap up

Just when things seem to be going well the foot and ankle started swelling. The first bout cured with just some pressure stockings. The second bout cured with a round of antibiotics. Now we are on the third bout and because if the holidays the Foot God was on vacation. We saw the cutie patootie doctor instead. He didn't seem too excited about the swelling or the strange blotches.

 

He ordered a type of wet dressing that tightens as it dries.  It is a type of cast, but one that allows mobility and reduces the swelling.  She will wear it a week and return to see the Foot God next year.  Connie inquired about a MRI since it had been some time since she last had one, and he agreed it might be time so she had some images taken of her foot.  The Foot God will go over those with her next week.  Minimal walking.  She continues in the wheelchair and with the foot as the two year mark passes.
