We went this weekend to the mall for some winter clothes shopping for my eldest. We had beautiful weather for it - sixty-degree temperatures- so the girls dug out their "winter" clothes. Nothing fit Madison. The pants were too short and the sleeves of any tops only came to her elbows. Tom dropped off Madison, Darcy, Sarina, and I at the door and disappeared to do guy things.
We shopped for over an hour before he called inquiring as to where we were and when Darcy and Sarina informed him they were over any interest in helping Madison find clothes, he took them to get something to drink.
As they passed the play area in the middle of the mall, the two girls stopped to watch toddlers run helter-skelter through the maze of climbing equipment, over and under tunnels, to jump on to colorful stationary animals.
Sarina: "Remember the good ole days when we used to do that?"
