For some reason this area has a thing about painting large replicas of animals and displaying them around town. Years ago it was turtles and now it is dolphins. A dolphin display to hook visitors to the Republican National Convention was done by local artists who prettied up the fiberglass dolphins and displayed them at the city's beach park. They are sponsored by local merchants and are going to be around the area for some time as they have turned into a big hit. We got to view them two weeks ago while hanging out at the beach and I took a few pictures of the ones I liked the best.

I enjoyed them all and just read that they will be sold for $1,000 a piece and hopefully kept in the area. I would buy a few and put them out by my pool deck, but I couldn't decide which ones since I liked so many.

I love the dolphins and would love to have one at my house so I can feel as if I'm in Florida!:)
