Scenes from two neighborhoods

Kelly and I have started getting prepared for our upcoming Central American excursions; she to Guatemala, me to Costa Rica.  We shall be doing some strenuous activity in Central America; she tended to orphans and their orphanage, me hiking through the rain forest and dealing with horses, and so we felt the need to start getting our bodies and our minds into shape for these upcoming adventures.  We started on Monday of this past week, and decided to start out by walking.  We started with 20 minutes of a brisk walk and by the end of the week we were up to 30 minutes of brisk walking.  First we walked in my neighborhood and then we walked in Kelly's neighborhood.  I took along my camera to capture....whatever.

Scenes from Cara's neighborhood:

Everyone needs a marble elephant in the front yard.

Some of the beautiful foliage of the neighborhood

And plenty of fruit in the road
