Homecoming 2016

Darcy started out this year with the intent to embrace every moment of her senior year, and so far, as she heads into the third month, she has done so. This past week was homecoming week, and despite important tests and papers due she managed to create and put together her homecoming required outfits. The committee assigns theme days for the students leading up to Friday where, before the big game, they have a spirit free for all on the field. The game was played on Friday and the dance on Saturday. She had a very busy week.

Senior Day
Me: "Why do you all have to portray seniors as old, hunched over humans with walkers and canes?"
Darcy: "Because that's more fun."

Tacky Tourist Day
Tom: "You look like your mother."
Darcy: "That's what I thought. This is mom on her way to Disney."
Me: "F**k you'all."

Pack Day
Me: "Who is Christopher Robin?"
Darcy: "None of the guys wanted to join this group today so we don't have one."

80's Day
Tom: "Hey, there Jane Fonda!"
Darcy: "Who's that?"

Packers Day
Me: "Why does everyone think pigs are pink? Have you seen a real pig?"
Darcy: "Who cares? I can't breathe."
