Pittsburgh over Carolina - Home game at night on national televised TV? No worries.
Chicago over Detroit - Matt Stafford is going to meet his doppelganger today. I think the young kid wins.
New Orleans over Cincinnati - The Saints are now the team to beat after their big shootout last week. They'll frustrate the Bengals defense, and those guys will implode.
Atlanta over Cleveland - Do I need to make a comment here?
New England over Tennessee - Or here?
Indianapolis over Jacksonville - This could be a good game, although the Jaguars are struggling to find their footing. The Colts seem to have discovered what works for them, plus they are at home, so the advantage goes to them.
Kansas City over Arizona - Should be an easy win for the Chiefs at home against an Arizona team with a lot of problems.
Buffalo over Jets - My wildcard pick.
Washington over Tampa Bay - This game went back and forth for me. Two rotten teams playing one another--one with a barely better defense and one with a barely better offense. I went with the defense.
Chargers over Oakland - The Raiders, unless they have a miracle up their sleeve, aren't going to beat explosive armed Phillip Rivers.
Green Bay over Miami - The Dolphins will freeze today.
Seattle over Rams - Whoa. I know. The Rams lose one game, and now suddenly I'm turning? Not really, but the Seahawks are on FIRE. Say what you want about Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll is just as good and just as nuts. The man can ignite a team, and Russell Wilson is intelligent enough--like Peyton Manning football smart--to read the Rams defense and work around it. This should be the game of the day.
Philadelphia over Dallas - The Eagles are hard at work making deals to recreate their magical season last year, but unfortunately, unless your coach is Bill Belichick, that's impossible. I do believe though that this rivalry will bring out the better plays and players for the Eagles. Especially at home. Lose to the Cowboys at home? They'd better not.
San Francisco over Giants - Boy, MNF has had some real clunkers this year, and here is another one. Toss a coin. I feel this might be a good game for the Giants. MNF tends to pump up the players, but it wasn't enough to make me change my pick.
