Holiday Photos

The Boston kids swam in the unheated pool at the condo, as well as my heated one.  They shivered through it all and never cared.  Not one little bit.

Instead of turkey we chose beef rib roast for the holiday meal because it was on sale at Publix.  Jay was the master chef for the rib roast and it was so delicious we pretty much devoured the entire 13 pounds on Christmas Eve.

We had millions of boxes delivered to our house from the beginning of December through the end.  Only one box, mailed two weeks prior and delivered the day before Christmas, came damaged.

Shell Island was built by Anya, Darcy and Ewan.  Darcy and Ewan spent considerable time with the construction, lying on their bellies side by side placing each shell meticulously on the island.

Shell Island was in close proximity to Snowman Island.

Neither the Boston clan nor the Floridian youngest cared about the cold of the Gulf, especially when it came time to pee or rinse off sand.

Watching the sunset never gets old...it just gets colder after the sun disappears...especially in the winter months.

We could not get enough of beef (especially Ewan)

It got colder on the beach as a small cold front moved into Florida for a few days

The kids didn't seem to mind

Happy New Year to all my readers near and far!
